PARTICIPATING IN THE 85th ANNIVERSARY OF RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE OF EMERCOM

The Hi-Fly Cargo evacuation drone took part in demonstration flight tests in Moscow region, simulating diverse real-life fire incidents.

The flights solemnly marked the 85th anniversary of the All-Russian Fire Safety Research Institute (ARFSRI) of EMERCOM and was a part of the cooperation between the Biruch Innovation Centre and EMERCOM.

ARFSRI is one of the core experts in firefighting with extensive expertise in testing innovative technologies and their subsequent certification. Therefore, the most advanced technologies and devices were showcased to mark the Institute's anniversary. One of them, the Hi-Fly Cargo, was designed by the Biruch Innovation Centre.

Biruch Innovation Centre CEO Yuri Kozarenko says:

"Involvement in emergency response is the core purpose of our evacuation drone. We therefore regularly conduct tests both on our own facilities and at specialised sites.

To objectively assess Hi-Fly Cargo's capabilities, we have built several fire towers at our Innovation Centre as an extension to the existing infrastructure, purchased equipment, and are designing a full-scale test site.

Cooperating with EMERCOM will allow us to test various firefighting systems, assess the aircraft aerodynamic stability and applicability in real-time emergency response missions".

The Hi-Fly UAV project is part of the Healthy Innovation technical project family of EFKO shareholders.
